Actually, women used to ban together like this....and willingly shared the men. The men worked to build houses and buildings for the village...the women cultivated the land and grew food. It was the WOMEN who shared the men. If a single woman or couple wanted children; but didn't have a man or if the couple couldn't conceive, the women would often allow the fathers of their children (if he was WILLING to) impregnate her village sisters for the sake of procreation.

Severe poverty...and these children pay the price..not enough food, no good education and more than likely not proper medical attention..I think this is sickening. I don't agree with polygamy at all but the worse sin I feel is bringing children into the world knowing you can't support them financially ..not to mention you're implying to these children that this lifestyle is ok.. smh.
