Also another thing that is NOT talked about is ANTEPARTUM DEPRESSION.
Alot of pregnant women have that and after the baby is born, antepartum depression turns into postpartum Depression that can eventually turn into postpartum psychosis.
I had both, and i healed myself by attending parenting classes and getting attending antepartum depression groups before my baby was born, because when i realized I didn't feel right, i SPOKE UP TO MY PRENATAL TEAM!!! And my team sent me to a therapist, from there inwas diagnosed with 3 things 1. PTSD 2. GAD 3. Clinical depression
All three stem from my traumatic childhood..our childhood is a blueprint to our adulthood and parenthood.
After my baby was born i continued classes, i did a postpartum depression class, two actually. I received home care visits to check on me and my baby.
Now i am in year 3 going on 4 of therapy. And that therapy is what CUT DOWN ON BOTH MY ANTEPARTUM AND POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION...I also attended parent support groups during my pregnancy and even up to this very day.
Most mommy groups allow women to be apart of groups up until their babies are 5. Because it literally takes a woman 1-2 years for her body to back to normal after pregnancy and birth.
Which us why a lot of doctors recommend women to wait at least a yr or two before having another baby.. otherwise you're tiring your body out and tyour mental health begins to unravel.
Something that has been added to prenatal care now that has NEVER been apart of prenatal care is MENTAL HEALTH CARE DURING PREGNANCY.
WOMEN if you're pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant and you know you have trauma, for your sake and for your babies sake SEEK HELP...this is how we get those unfortunate situations when mothers don't seek help.. everything that you feel, your baby feels that includes emotions.
And if you feel off DON'T BE AFRAID TO SEEK HELP TELL YOUR DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY. ❤

Prayer, prayer, prayer ALONE will not work. Traditional doctors are useless when dealing with the brain and serious ailments. Faith and prayer work IN CONJUNCTION WITH professionally trained doctors and the proper Western medication! I have PERSONALLY known many Africans who had breast cancer, prostate cancer, depression and other serious ailments and DIED DIED DIED from useless potions, salves, and balms from traditional doctors all while wasting precious time and money! Traditional doctors and herbs are good for constipation and mosquito bites! Praying for a full recovery and she will be surrounded by educated people who will advise her to keep going with SPECIALLY TRAINED PROFESSIONALS.

This woman is suffering from what is called Post-natal depression which can manifest in several ways. Please don't add any more issues to here already, a full plate, with trying to simplify her issues. Traditional doctors and medicine have their purposes, but this is not one for them. Chemical imbalances in the body whilst pregnant trigger a lot in some women. Those beautiful eyes of my gorgeous sister from another mother and country are hurting, and she wants to be there for her family, but she also needs us to be there for her. To her handsome husband, please do not get weary in well doing.
People will perished because of lack of knowledge nothing to do with witches casting spells here. After giving birth the Hormones estrogen and progesterone suddenly decreases, causing terrible mood swings. It's called postpartum depression. Here in Europe it's very common even to the point where women are killing their babies. So thankful that she has the support of a wonderful husband. God bless this family with all they need Amen.

Ok Afrimax..This thing's can happen after birthing.Mostly commonly caused by post partum depression. Thank God the hussy followed the medical line and not the african mindset of sorcery and witch doctors..Now,my unsolicited advice....She must distance child bearing so not to be overwhelmed with another birthing...She must have a support group close by e.g her mum,an elderly woman etc to monitor her daily well being and how she cares for her baby etc..To conclude, they(couple) can remain with an only child,work and better their lives and avoid previous recurrences.
