Their love story sounds a little bit like mine but only that my husband isn't disabled like that. We met in primary school and we were in the same class. It started as him writing some letters and gave them to his friends to give to me. I ignored him from 5 to 6 and one day he we had a chance to meet at the growth point where my grandmother had send me to buy some items for the house. He continued with asking me if I was getting his letters. That weekend I replied to him with just one line that said I liked him too. So from there we were together. So when cousins learned about it they started talking negative about him because he was developing a goiter. We finished primary school and I went on to continue with secondary education but him he didn't get the opportunity to do so because his stepmother told the father not to spend their money to send him to school. It broke my heart because he was so smart but there was nothing he could do. He went to the city to try and find a job and he started working as gardener and then moved to a restaurant and he was saving up at the same time attending night school. I completed my secondary education and went to college and studded my nursing school and all this while we had reconnected for we had lost contact for 4 years. After my training we got married and it didn't bother me that his goiter had grown bigger and that I was more educated than him. I encouraged him to continue with secondary education and he completed it a couple of years later. We had our 3 kids two boys and a girl and then moved to England and we're still going strong. We're like friends than husband and wife because we were together for almost ten years before we decided to get together and all that while there was no sex. Hahaha I don't know what we thought love was. So this couple story brought me back memories about how negative people used to be about us but we are still together from 1985 to date. Our first born son is 31 now and our hairs have gone grey together. Follow your heart guys something would probably have been bound in heaven before you even met
