I think that the boy saw that their were passing his house so he opened the door and that is what the driver saw (not that he was playing with the locker) the driver should speak the truth i think everything happens so fast the boy opened the door and fell out of the bus when he saw the boy at the door he should have stop the bus

This very smart child noticed the bus was passing his home and proceeded to get off the bus. Now the driver saw him opening the door, not playing with the lock. The driver should have been more vigilant because he was dealing with children. This is so sad.

The thoughts of losing a child is inconceivable for all parents. Its even worst when you dont know the truth of whats happened. Its questionable why the driver had'nt stop at the child's house enroute, why did'nt he stop the bus and removed the child from the door and place the child in a seat behind him,what training has he had in safeguarding? why are school busses transporting vunerable children not fitted with seat belts? There are a lot of questions need answering starting with the minister of transport, the bus providers, the school? These are questions that the parents may never find the answers too. As a mother who has personally lost a child by medical negligence i share your pain, its been 44 yrs and Ive had no answers and no one takes responsiblities. I live with the hope found in Gods word the bible recorded at John 5: 28-29 it speaks of a resurrection a time when we will see our loved ones again.. you are not alone , always Remember that Jehovah God is near to those crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 you are in my prayers and in the prayers of many who are moved by yr experience.
