The father of a friend of mine in junior high school had this same affliction. I never asked him about it , but he (his son Bob ) seemed to not let it bother him too much and fortunately I’d never heard anyone making fun of him for it. You definitely aren’t alone with this if it helps any there are people in the US who also have this.
