The founder of this school Earnest Ebohard Calwell was a retired naval officer that was teaching at Kings College in 1926 had a disagreement with the headmaster abt school uniforms . He was approached by other students to aquire land to start another school which obviously happened . He chose kilts as the uniforms as he was a Scott by heritage .
